Can’t help being happy
on a morning like this --
Just taking a breath is bliss!
I know I didn’t get here on my own,
and I know we cannot make it all the way
alone --
December’s sun loosens frosted parts,
grass and branch and post make art --
Living vapor smokes into the light--
This ain’t nothing but right!
